Model Chrissy Teigen Reveals She Is "Building Herself Back Up" After Dealing With "Tough Depression"
Managing mental health is not easy and at times can be extremely tough. Having battled postpartum depression following the birth of her children - Miles, 21 months and Luna, three, Model and Television Personality Chrissy Teigen reveals she hasn't been good to herself, struggling with managing her mental health, which has recently been "really tough".
Also battling with body confidence, which Chrissy claims became worse after having children, in a Glamour magazine cover star interview, she added, "I used to weigh myself every morning, afternoon and night. I knew what the scales would say after each meal. I did that for eight years and had this one weight I wanted to be at. It took me a year to be comfortable with my new normal number."
Cooking Is Her Peace
The 34-year-old says "anyone with anxiety knows it's physically painful to think about doing things". However, the 'Cravings' author and mother of two has extended her brand with her latest project, Cravings By Chrissy Teigen, a web destination for fans of cooking and entertaining, enjoying food around the world, observing something called "Treat Yoself Friday," all while working on building herself back up.
